Services
Jamie McKaye provides web design, web development, custom application development, AI integration, AI chatbots, SEO, and AI search optimisation services. All projects are subject to individual agreements which may include additional terms.
Quotations and pricing
- All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
- Prices are in GBP and exclude VAT unless specified
- Final pricing depends on agreed scope and specifications
- Additional work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately
Payment terms
- A deposit (typically 50%) is required before work commences
- The balance is due upon project completion and before final handover
- Monthly retainer services are billed in advance
- Late payments may incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate
Project process
- Projects proceed through defined phases with client approval at each stage
- Client is responsible for providing content, feedback, and approvals promptly
- Delays in client responses may affect project timelines
- Major changes after approval may incur additional charges
Intellectual property
Upon full payment:
- Client receives ownership of the final deliverables
- We retain rights to underlying code, templates, and tools we've developed
- Third-party components remain under their respective licences
Portfolio rights:
We reserve the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Client responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Ensure they have rights to all content provided
- Respond to requests and provide feedback in a timely manner
- Backup their own data and content
Warranties and limitations
- We provide services with reasonable skill and care
- Websites are tested across modern browsers but cannot be guaranteed on all platforms
- We are not responsible for third-party services, hosting, or integrations
- Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service
Cancellation
- Either party may terminate with written notice
- Fees for completed work remain due
- Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the course of the project.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
